Arriving Early 2020…
Inspired by my beloved kids, Lucille and Nancy (a brindle-butt Pit Bull and brazen blue tabby respectively), this variegated “brindle-dyed” yarn (or tabby-dyed, if you like) knits up in painterly stripes of varying subtlety, just like the fur of my favorite familiar beasts. Although I’ve dyed this yarn in small matching “lots” no two skeins will be exactly the same …that’s also true for every animal I’ve known and loved.
Fiber Content: 100% machine-washable *organic merino
Yardage: 394 yards (360m)
Gauge: approx. 28 – 32 sts = 4 in (10cm)
Needle: 0 – 3 US (2 – 3.25mm)
Hand-wash in cold water for best results or machine wash in cold water on a delicate cycle. Avoid washing with towels, jeans, or other abrasive clothing. Dry flat or tumble dry low. Light bleeding may occur with highly saturated colors.
*base yarn is spun from organic wool and pre-treated with an organic compound to prevent felting in the wash. The dyes I use are not organic, however, I always work with the earth and her creatures in mind.
