Alpaca fiber is extremely soft and durable with unrivaled warmth, plus it’s is arguably the most naturally sustainable fiber due to the animal’s low-impact grazing habits. This particular 3-ply fiber was responsibly created utilizing solar power, hand sorting, and safely reusing waste-water for crops.
Each skein is hand-dyed, by yours truly, at the optimal temperature/pH required to preserve the integrity of this magical fiber. Dyed with earth-friendly, low-impact acid dyes that meet organic standards and are formulated without hazardous metals or chrome.

Care: Hand-wash in cool water with minimal agitation to avoid felting (some color bleeding may occur depending on the pH of your wool soap and/or water). Dry flat.
Color Description: Old Broom – A veiled base of honey yellows that deepen to syrupy browns. Think warm patinaed wood and weathered wheat.
Due to the kettle-dyed nature of this yarn, look forward to whimsical color pooling and striping of varying subtlety.
